Hey guys, I'm relatively new to the forum, and something has been troubling me. I've had my Raiden Fader since maybe December 2015, and it finally needing lubrication so I got Deoxit F5, followed all the instructions and cleaned it. But now it's breaking/broken, I lose sound when I start cutting (the sound cuts in and out and even if the fader is open I still can't hear a single thing), this is super annoying and I want to know if anyone has any experience or advice?

It really depends. I'm pretty sure its the Raiden acting up. What happens after a few minutes of scratching? Does it get better or is it a never ending bleed? Have you contacted Raiden Fader about it? Try asking him on IG, Van, is a pretty cool guy.
But keep in mind the Raiden Fader isn't going to last forever. I believe there is a click life to it. Other than asking Raiden Fader to replace it you might as well buy another one or wait a month or so when they release an innofader version. Don't quote me on that timeline. I just know what's been goign on from IG.

But now it's breaking/broken, I lose sound when I start cutting (the sound cuts in and out and even if the fader is open I still can't hear a single thing), this is super annoying and I want to know if anyone has any experience or advice? Here are a few things that you can try... in no particular order. 1. Try using the Deoxit F5 Fader cleaner again to clean all the dust and other foreign substances out. Flip fader facing down to shake out the excess spray. Move fader side to side *while still upside down*. Let it chill out for a bit to dry then plug it in again. If it still does it.. repeat the spray again. Could be that it's really full of dust or other spray juices. 2. Try tightening or loosening the screw on the side where you cut on the fader. I know this is weird... but I had to do that with one of mine. 3. Try using other mini cables.. it's highly unlikely that it was the problem but you want to eliminate all the possibilities. ** Like Acts One said... these faders aren't to last forever.. and was stated on the site it would need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
